The Social Promotion Association Lingolab APS cares about protecting the personal data of its members, users and website visitors. This notice describes how we handle the data collected through this website and as part of our institutional activities.

2. Types of data processed
Through the website and our association activities, we process the following categories of data:
Browsing data: IP addresses, browser type, parameters of the device used to connect. This data is processed automatically by the hosting provider for the sole purpose of ensuring the website works correctly and securely; it is not used for profiling or statistics.
Data provided voluntarily by the user: first name, surname, email and telephone number sent through contact forms or when subscribing to the newsletter.
Membership and educational data: in the case of formal enrolment through the website (where available), the member’s personal details and, for minors, those of the parent/guardian (including tax code and contact details).
Special categories of data: any information on allergies/intolerances provided voluntarily for safety during activities (Summer Camps, workshops).
3. Purposes and Legal Bases
Your data is processed for the following purposes:
Replying to requests for information: to contact you about our courses and activities (Legal basis: pre-contractual measures – Art. 6.1 b).
Managing the membership relationship: for membership, course management, insurance cover and legal obligations (Legal basis: membership relationship and legal obligations – Art. 6.1 b/c).
Newsletter and communications: sending updates on activities and events (Legal basis: explicit consent – Art. 6.1 a).
Health and safety: handling data on allergies for the safety of students (Legal basis: explicit consent or protection of vital interests – Art. 9.2 a/c).
4. Recipients of the data
Data will not be disclosed to the public, but may be shared with:
Affiliated bodies for membership purposes and the insurance company.
Tax/accounting advisers for the association’s financial reporting.
Technology service providers (website hosting, newsletter platform) appointed as Data Processors.
Public authorities where required by law.
5. Transfer of data outside the EU
The website is published through the Cloudflare Pages service of Cloudflare, Inc., which uses a network of servers distributed also outside the European Economic Area to deliver the pages. Technical browsing data (e.g. IP address) is transferred on the basis of the safeguards provided by the GDPR (EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses). The website does not use embedded external services (third-party maps, videos, fonts or analytics). Should third-party cloud services be used (e.g. Google Workspace), data will only be transferred to providers that guarantee GDPR-compliant protection standards (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses).
6. Retention period
Contact requests: 12 months if not followed by enrolment.
Membership and tax data: 10 years from the end of the relationship (legal obligation).
Newsletter: until you ask to unsubscribe (opt-out).
7. Your Rights
At any time, you can exercise the rights provided for by Articles 15-22 of the GDPR:
To know what data we process (Access).
To request its rectification or erasure.
To withdraw the consent you have given.
To lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante Privacy, www.gpdp.it).
